We listen carefully, knowing that we must first understand our clients' business needs and objectives if we are to help achieve them.   We listen to other parties to the transaction, as well, knowing that we'll probably have to understand, consider and be willing to address their business needs and objectives, too, in order to get the deal done.  When obstacles arise (as they often do), we think outside the box to develop strategies and creative solutions to help get around them.   We pay close attention to the details, because that's where problems are most likely to arise for those who don't.
